Haha was helping zephyr with her work today. Whao... tiring and tideous. But it was a fun day. Thanks zephyr for the nice day out =)

For the past few times i talked about changes, i always said that its the juniors that have changed. But i was wondering, have we done enough when we were seniors? The junior's achievement is a measure of the senior's legacy. That is what someone told me, and i thought its quite true. The juniors are taught and led by us when we were seniors. Obviously, by laws of physics, output = input. So whatever we put in will determine what they would become. To me this is technically true. Hence, i wonder if what is happening now is also partly the senior's fault?

I remember when i was a junior, we were taught by our seniors. They talked to us, taught us all that we needed and disciplined us. I remembered it was tough and it makes me feel stressed, but i think that it allowed me to improve, both technically and in our attitude towards band. However, because we hated that kind of discipline, we did not employ it on our juniors. We chose to get closer to them and befriend them and mix around with them. In some sense, this trend carried on. Now its like the juniors do not respect the seniors when the seniors talk or scold them. They do not treat it seriously. I remember when i was a junior, i was quite terrified by the seniors and abided to them. But now, there seems to be very little respect for the seniors. I used to think its very rigid, but now that i look back, i see the need for such a system to be in place. Hence, it makes me wonder if its our fault that things are the way they are now.
