Hah. I know i havent blogged for some time, but yes, the holidays are here!

Sometimes i really wonder, are our holidays or so the teachers say 'term break' are really holidays or breaks. I shall use the phrase 'term break' for i feel that it is more appropriate to describe what i am in for. Definitely not a holiday to relax. It seems that there is a trend in JC that a term break is a studying break. For most JCs ( i really envy VJ for having common tests before term breaks ), there is always a common test awaiting us after the term break. One of the explainations is that this would keep our studying attitude going during the long break. Point taken.

But, i personally feel that it is such a system that makes JC life really boring. Imagine, you spend so much time in school studying during the term and hope to get a break some time. But the end result is that you have to spend your holidays mugging even harder than school days! So what is the point of going to school when the system obviously endorses the point that we can be left to study on our own, more effectively and harder, during the holidays? So school term should be more about merry making and spending time with friends. Many people would love this point =P

To me, the school term is the time when i really study and the holidays i really want to relax. I believe i can get my studying momentum going again once school term starts. Maybe schools should start reviewing this system of exams after holidays =X
