Today was Rv Donation Draw. Early morning woke up late. Rushed down but in the end managed to get there in time. Usual rv-styled ceremony, but the feeling is so different. Pathetically small hall, with only sec3s and some sec4s only. It sux. Remembers the 2000 seater audi we had, the flowers that ms lee would place there in grand ceremonies, the tall celling, the waxed floors, the large crowd. Hais... its not there anymore. Replaced by an old, rundown, sucky, small pathetic hall. So not lyk the rv ceremony i knoe.
As usual, there were late people. Coming in frm the back, many peps of my batch came. Usual ceremony with school song and speeches, but well they were short. Haha... many peps cannot take it but as compared to the 3hrs on my sec1 orientation nite with Mr Tham, this is reallie short.
Drawing was the interesting thing. They brought out tin cans of balls of numbers, lyk those u see for the 4-digits and stuffs. The Big 5 in Rv went up for the draw. Rolled the tin cans round and round with the drum roll! Hahas then stopped, unscrewed the bottom and let the number out. Well that wasnt the main point. That would look grand in the old hall, but now it looks farnie instead! Well, some errors here and there. But there was a major error! Haha... they realised that not all the tix are sold out. So they had to re-draw for some of the prizes. Highest record was 9 re-draws for the 5th prize - a pair of return tickets to Taipei! Hahas... seems that people hated taipei lol. Luckily they only drew the top 10, then the alumnis and the guests took their leave. Went for reception, toked with the rest and caught up with them. It was nice.
well the typical lan and bball came after that. It was fun, but the donation draw was uhrms... poorer than expectation?
