Today is the Esplanade Performance... woohoos... first performance without us. I can say very successful? hAha... cos it attracted a reallie large crowd. The person in charge was ticking the number of people there and i saw a 4 on the hundredth scale? Haha... thats wonderful sias. Outdoor performance main point is to attract a reallie large crowd wad rites? hahas.
Congrats to the soloists wors... very nice. Wang Nian for Lion King, Jun Xiong, Nicholas, Lester and You Wei for I Could Have Danced All Night, Ee Shan & Simin for Disco Party, You Ping for Soul Bossanova and the other soloists i cant remember. Sorry! It was such a wonderful performance that i was so engrossed that i 4got to remember who played the solos! Hahas...
The whole performance as a whole was definitely enthralling and exciting for the public. One guy was so interested in Yan Ge and Disco Party that the man started to dance! lols. hahas... that shows that u all have the power to command the mood of the audience! Powerful and awesome1 Jiayoux... hahas...
Although the performance was good, well as a senior, i alwaz come with comments. Well for my own section, good job for Disco Party, I Could Have Danced All Night and Big Fun in the Sun. hahas... the parts were clear and nicely sounded.Disco Party was nice sias... with all the loud horn effects done and the I Could Have Danced All Night i could hear the horn parts that came out well =) But i think lion king and Yan Ge were quite disappointing... yupps.. the horns werent reallie heard from where i was standing. Quite covered up by the band... the counter-melody didnt cut through. I think yupps... could improve in the dynamics part. Also some part the tounging was nt reallie clear ... well could work on that.
Hahas... thats all for this performance... yupps work hard. The next major event is SYF liaoz... hope u all remembered my words in ur head. Work hard and get RV the honour it should get =)
