Today is the real thing - Syf opening ceremnoy 2004. It was so tiring a day sia... rushing around and waiting. Good thing no mistake and the performance was perfect. Songs and everything just nice. =) ps. thx to the driver of the truck for de help in driving in tempo with us.
However the weather wasnt fine at all, it rained halfway through the performance. But luckily, it only lasted for the march in portion. The rain stopped. Everyone there was like cheering. Waiting for the songs to past was the worst, sit down there and could do nothing but stare straight and stay at attention. Covering our mouthpieces and trying to lean over the instrument to protect it. But when it all began, everything went well, no mispitches, in tempo, in correct order, no mistake notes =) cheerx rvcb! Haha... being a little bhb here, but i enjoyed the vip saying <>. Hehe, quite an honour to be ranked as that? Haha... i dunoe but i think our performance today lives up to that rank ba. we did well, but still we don't have what we used to be, the band spirit, the initiative and the echoes didnt work well. Hope that rvcb will get better soon. Time reallie flies... counting down the third last performance le. One of the most major event encountered in my rvcb life.
Juniors... jiayoux and bring rvcb to glory once again next yr!
